ENERGY FOX

During icon ideation I explored two styles of hand-drawn sketching, continuous line drawing and minimalist illustrations, depicting spiritual symbolism through vignettes of moons, hands, foxes (Lisa’s expressed spirit animal), and Lisa herself. It was important to capture her personality through the brand, as her offerings are intimate and centered around sensitivity and emotional connection.  

Together we dreamed up a mystical mark and soothing palette to enchant her audiences.

She selected two final logos: a primary horizontal lockup to live in her website header nav bar and third eye icon to represent her brand as a secondary mark. 

I also supported Lisa in the creation and curation of a series of illustrations that would enhance her brand identity across collateral (social media, website, marketing etc).

My illustrations explored mystical motifs, playful characters, healing hands, and dreamy moon cycles. I utilized stylistic conventions of sacred geometry and sophisticated serifs to represent the sacred ritual elements of her practice, while flowing lines and hand-drawn scripts evoked the more spontaneous nature of her intuition. 

Working with Courtney has been an absolute privilege. She is an incredibly talented artist whose creativity knows no bounds. What makes Courtney so special is her ability to seamlessly translate her artistic mastery from the canvas to the screen. Her artistic eye brings a level of beauty and thoughtfulness to everything she touches, particularly when it comes to website design. For our website, "Energy Fox," Courtney went above and beyond by hand-drawing multiple aspects and symbols that invoked power and influence throughout the site. The result is a truly unique, stunning website, with every detail infused with her creative touch.

Courtney's ability to work independently is remarkable. She takes initiative with projects, fully embodying her artistic vision and executing it with ease. As a person, she is equally thoughtful, intelligent, and inspiring. Her art workshops are a reflection of this, creating spaces where individual artists can feel honored and encouraged to explore their creativity. It’s been amazing to watch her grow with each workshop she presents, especially during our "She is Art, Sally Mustang" retreats, where her energy and passion shine through.

Beyond her artistry, Courtney is a fantastic mentor and leader. She has a natural ability to guide and support others, especially within group settings, making her an invaluable colleague. Trustworthy, reliable, and incredibly insightful, Courtney is a woman who can lead with heart and strength. It’s been such a joy to work alongside her, and I can’t wait to see how she continues to evolve and inspire."
